Wednesday 3rd May - Meeting with Mr. Pucel
For our trip to Athlone, we met Mr. Pucel, chairman of the twinning committee Athlone - Châteaubriant. He explained the operation of a municipal council in Ireland, and the role of mayor. It also gave us cultural venues and activities close to Athlone for our outings and activities during our stay. We asked him questions about the city and the habits of the Irish that we will meet very soon.
